Current Level “C” CPR Certification

Current ACLS Certification

One (1) year of recent ICU / CCU, Emergency Room and Post Anesthetic Recovery Room Settings plus post basic specialty education such as BCIT Specialty Program

Recent experience in acute care medical / surgical setting

This may include experience gained in the consolidated practice experience and bridge out practice components of a basic nursing education program OR demonstrated competency through an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

 

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities

Ability to provide nursing care to clients consistent with Nursing Practice Standards, Protocols and Regulations as required in the hospital and the clinical setting

Ability to direct the Cardiac Arrest Team

Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Experience working within a non-stop real time environment

  • Minimum 5 years experience managing web application development
  • Hands on experience coding more than one currently popular web application framework
  • Familiar with more than one software development methodology
  • Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications
  • Knowledge of web standards
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows system administration and web server configuration
  • Knowledge of Internet protocols and RFC standards, database management systems and revision control systems
  • Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization
